Hello and Welcome,
There are two fine meeting of the club on Friday and details are below:
Friday 9 November - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
Windows 8 has arrived! It is unlike any previous version of the Microsoft operating system and users who install it on their computers will need to take some time to adapt to its many new features.
At this meeting a version of the Windows 8 will be installed on the club's computer and members will have an opportunity to discuss their initial impression of the operating system.
You may not want to install Windows 8 on your computer right now but now is a good time to learn something about how it works.
Friday 9 November - Communications - J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
John Lucke's theme for this meeting is "Communications and Entertainment".
John will review and discuss some of the sources of entertainment available on the internet and will invite members to divulge their favourite sources and applications for streaming or downloading TV, video, music, eBooks, news and more.
There will also be a question and answer session and general discussion at the beginning of both of these meetings.
Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to email@example.com
